Cadding for Geoff Tidder of Romford when he was playing Ian Quick, who at the time was an England international. Romford won the match.
Favourite course in Essex?
Thorndon Park because of the acreage. There’s a lot of space and it’s interesting.
Favourite course in UK?
Moorpark. Lovely layout, nice looking and good condition.
Best tip you have ever been given?
To stop overswinging. I try to keep my swing at ¾. I was playing off 11 until I picked up this tip. Now I’m a 5 handicapper.
What would you like to see added or improved in golf?
Less changes. The tradition is being taken away. Dress codes are beginning to relax and the way people behave is not getting any better.
